Our Story

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." — Jeremiah 29:11

For three years, God placed a seed in my heart to create something special, but the path wasn’t always clear. I started with different ideas and different directions, but nothing felt "right" until I looked back at where my journey as a "Girl Mom" began.

When my daughter Zaya was born, I created the hashtag #ZayaAndHerMama. After being a proud mom to two boys for over a decade, Zaya was the unexpected and beautiful gift I had prayed for. While I cherish every moment of being a "Boy Mom," having a daughter opened up a new world for me—a world where I could finally express my love for fashion and style through her.

That hashtag became a digital scrapbook of our lives. But as Zaya grew, she began to develop her own unique personality and style, and the photos of us "matching" became fewer. I realized that our bond was evolving, and I wanted to capture that transition.

Zaya & Her Mama Boutique LLC is the physical expression of our friendship, our relationship, and the deep love between a mother and daughter. It is a reminder of that "decade-later" blessing and the joy of a daughter's companionship.
